German Christmas Traditions

Hey everyone!

I hope you're as excited for Christmas as I am! I went home on Saturday and I'm so happy to be with my family and friends again!

Today I want to tell you about German Christmas Traditions and about our Family Traditions in special.

The Days Before Christmas

I found out that people in many other countries start decorating their Christmas Trees right at the beginning of December. In Germany most of the families decorate their trees quite late, a few days before Christmas. In our family it's a tradition to decorate the tree on the 24th of December, we're decorating all together while listening to music and eating bisquits.

My favourite Christmas Movies

Hey there!

I hope you all had a great day! If you're not in a christmassy mood already just watch the films in my list and I promise, you'll feel christmassy afterwards! 🎄

1) Love Actually

Yep, that's one of my favourites! Who doesn't love a film about Christmas and love?! And have you heard the cute accents? Absolutely adorable. I can watch this film even in summer and I will feel ready for Christmas instantly.

I don't want to spoiler but the scene when Mark uses his signs to tell Juliet 'To me you are perfect'... Best scene ever!

10 Ways to feel Festive

Hey everyone!

Do you already feel festive this december? If not, this is my top 10 list with things I do every year before Christmas to feel festive.

1) Go to a Christmas Market

Here in Germany most of the Christmas Markets start the weekend before the 1st advent, so quite early. Just ask some friends and go there together to see all the nice festive things they sell.

What Christmas means to me

Happy 2nd advent everyone!

Sunday means relaxing and doing the things you had no time for during the week. So I called my parents today and we talked about Christmas and what the plans are for the time between Christmas and New Years Eve.

That's why I thought about what Christmas means to me and I think it's a good idea for a post. So I can compare my meanings with others.

My Christmas Decoration

Hello again,

finally I finished all of my Christmas decoration that I'd like to share with you. This post is probably going to be quite short, but I have a few photos for you.

Advent wreath

I decided to create a simple and small but nice looking advent wreath because my room is quite small and I don't have space for too much decoration.

If you're from Germany you might now the shops where I bought all the things but I'm not sure if they exist in other countries as well.
